Like traditional braces, Invisalign clear aligners can help straighten your teeth. But that's where the similarities end. Here, our orthodontists explain what you won't get with Invisalign.

With Invisalign, instead of using metal and wires, your smile is gradually straightened using a series of removable, clear plastic aligners.

There are many things you WON'T get with Invisalign, and believe us, that's a good thing!

You won't have to get adjustments.

Because Invisalign aligners are made to custom fit your teeth and mouth, they do not require adjustments the way traditional braces do. You'll only have to visit your dentist for brief appointments every 4 - 6 weeks during your treatment.

You won't have to change your diet.

Invisalign clear aligners are similar in appearance to custom whitening trays, and are easy to put in and take out. You can remove them to eat and drink so there's no need to give up the foods you love!

You won't have to change your lifestyle.

You will probably find that Invisalign fits very comfortably into your day-to-day life. Invisalign is a great option for busy adults and teens who want a straighter smile while staying active in business, sports, music, and more.

You won't feel self conscious.

Invisalign aligners fit discreetly over your teeth, so most of the time, other people won't even notice you are wearing them. And because they are removable, you can take them out for those moments when you don't want anyone to know you're straightening your teeth.
