Our BC dentists use Invisalign to straighten our patients' teeth without the hassle of metal braces. If you're looking for a comfortable, convenient, and discreet way to straighten your smile, Invisalign may be right for you. Here's how Invisalign works.
The Invisalign Difference
Whether your orthodontic issue is simple or complex, Invisalign can help to straighten your teeth fast, without the wires and brackets that come along with traditional metal braces.
Thanks to Invisalign you can straighten your smile without worrying about what others will think.
How Invisalign Works
Invisalign treatment starts with a modern, fully digitized experience to help you get the smile you've always wanted.
If you're a good candidate for Invisalign treatment, the advanced Invisalign technology will allow your dentist to show you what your smile could look like after treatment is complete, and provide you with a personalized treatment plan.
Personalized Treatment Plan
Using your detailed scans, your CCOA dentist will work with the experts at Invisalign to fine-tune every tooth movement and create a personalized treatment plan, just for you.
Think of your treatment plans as your your roadmap to a straight new smile.
Your Invisalign treatment will consist of a series of clear aligners that will gently and gradually shift your teeth into their desired positions.
Each aligner is custom fabricated from Invisalign's unique SmartTrack material. SmartTrack has been specially engineered to help Invisalign clear aligners apply just the right amount of force to gently shift your teeth.
During your Invisalign treatment you will move to a new set of aligners approximately every 2 weeks.
Life with Invisalign
Invisalign aligners are almost completely invisible when worn, so you won't feel so self-conscious about your smile while undergoing orthodontic treatment.
And, Invisalign aligners are removable, so you won't have to give up any of your favourite foods while straightening your teeth. Simply remove your aligners and eat what you love.
There won't even be any significant changes to your at-home oral hygiene routine. Just remove your aligners, brush, floss and pop your aligners back in place.
You may be surprised at how quickly your misalignment issues will begin to be resolved. Soon you will have the straight smile you've always wanted.
